Food Bank

Sparkhill foodbank project addresses the needs of the most vulnerable within our community including people placed in sudden financial crisis due to change in personal circumstances leading to financial hardship and in some case destitution or homelessness.

The foodbank provides a temporary, practical stopgap giving a minimum of 3 days emergency food supply until welfare benefits are paid.

The project is also a catalyst for helping individuals by supporting them through other issues such as debt and housing matters, helping break the long-term cycle of poverty, isolation, deprivation, lack of opportunity, poor diet and health problems.
