Remember those caught up in the war in Ukraine. With North Korean soldiers being sent to Russia, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has said that this is a grave escalation in the war and a threat to global peace.
-
Pray about the deepening humanitarian aid crisis in Gaza particularly in the light of the UN Palestinian agency ban. Pray too that sticking points can be resolved in the latest proposed peace plan which would begin with a six week cease fire and would include a surge of humanitarian aid and a major reconstruction of Gaza.
-
With the President of the US holding such a significant role on the world stage pray about the US Presidential election on November 5th.
-
Pray for those who will be struggling as a result of the recent Budget. Pray for small businesses that they will be able to see a way forward.
-
As it gets dark earlier, remember those who will feel isolated in their homes. Pray for our Place of Welcome and other organisations that support those who are feeling lonely.
-
Continue to pray for those in our fellowship who are bereaved. Pray that God will come alongside them and comfort them.
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.
