About us: prayer

  • Give thanks for Tuesday's agreement between the USA and Ukraine. Pray for future discussions with Russia. Pray for a fair, lasting and binding peace agreement that every side can accept.

  • The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says that food prices have risen sharply in Gaza since Israel blocked the entry of humanitarian aid. If the blockade continues at least 80 community kitchens may soon run out of stock and remaining food parcels that will support 500,000 people will soon run out. Pray that the blockade will be lifted.

  • Remember those around the world who have been affected by recent adverse weather conditions. Ask that God will give them continued strength and courage as they rebuild their lives.

  • Pray for Sir Keir Starmer and our Government .  Ask that God will give them wisdom and insight in decisions they are making on behalf of our country.

  • Pray for our emergency services, Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service and Coastguard. Pray for their protection as they serve our communities.

  • With the closure of many of our youth centres, pray that young people will be able to find alternative places to meet. Pray for charities and churches who are trying to fill the gap and pray for their youth workers.

I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.

Jeremiah 29:11
